Vayu Mudra
VAYU MUDRA OR VAYU SHAAMAK MUDRA

Method of performing Vayu Mudra:
*Let the tip of the index finger touch the base of your thumb, and press down the index finger lightly with your thumb, keeping the rest of your fingers straight to do the Vayu Mudra. Best benefit of Vayu Mudra is obtained by doing it in Vajrasan.
*It is possible that you start, burping or farting while doing this Mudra or thereafter, do not worry, it only means that your body is releasing the excess vayu(vatta) from your system.
Caution:
Do not use this Mudra for more than 30 minutes at any point in time. If badly required, it may be done 2-3 times a day for 15 minutes at each time. The moment your pain stops or you have obtained substantial relief, immediately stop using this Mudra.
Many experienced doctors say that the practice of this mudra should be discontinued as soon as the disease has been overcome.
